Leonardo DiCaprio is in talks to play the villain in Quentin Tarantino's western Django Unchained, according to reports.
The movie star is slated to play Calvin Candie, an evil Mississippi ranch owner and sex club boss who has kidnapped the leading man's wife.
If he signs up, DiCaprio will join Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds baddie Christoph Waltz in the film.
Waltz plays a dentist-turned-bounty hunter in the bizarre film, according to CinemaBlend.com.
We haven't seen DiCaprio on the big screen since the super-successful Inception last summer.
The actor has already completed work on J. Edgar, a movie that is directed by Clint Eastwood and in which he takes on the title character.
He is also set to star as Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby which will be directed by Baz Luhrmann and also star Carey Mulligan.
