Liam Neeson

Liam Neeson has described his time filming The Hangover 2 as 'intense'.

The actor has been cast in a cameo role as a tattoo artist in the follow up to the 2009 comedy hit.

And while Neeson's character lives in Bangkok he reveals that he never made it to Thailand.

Speaking to MTV the actor said: "Didn't make [it to] Thailand. I made [it to] Warner Bros.' studio. ... They built a set, which could've been in Thailand."

"Oh, it was [fun], it was," he said. "It was pretty intense. I was only there for one day - a Sunday, as far as I remember.

"But it was good to be with Bradley Cooper - he's a buddy - and the other two gentlemen, I'd never met them before, but I love what they do," he said of co-stars Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis.

"The three of them are just, they reinvent the Three Stooges in a very funny way."

The Hangover 2 is just one a whole host of projects that we will be seeing Neeson appear in over coming months.

He will next be on the big screen in action movie Unknown while he has also completed work on Battleship and is currently filming The Grey.

The Hangover Part 2 is released 27th May.
