Liam Neeson has promised more action scenes in the second Clash of the Titans movie.

Neeson is set to reprise the role of Zeus in the movie and he admits that he is looking forward to the project.

Speaking to MSN the actor said: "I've only read half of the script and there is still some work being done - they're on script 10 - but I think it's going to be some kick-a** stuff and a very human story to it.

"We will start next March. I'm very much looking forward to it. It's a whole revamping, you know.

Sam Worthington and Gemma Arterton are expected to reprise their roles as Perseus and Io after the first film took over $493 million at the box office.

Neeson, or his voice at least, is back on the big screen this week as he voices the character of Aslan once again in The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader and he is set to team up with Russell Crowe in the new year for The Next Three Days.

He has already completed Unknown and is working on Battleship as well as filming a cameo in The Hangover Part II.
