Little Fockers

Little Fockers

Little Fockers remained top of the U.S. box office this weekend to be the first number one movie of 2011.

The comedy sees Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro return to the characters of Greg and Jack as the pair once again go to war.

Family-patriarch Jack Byrnes wants to appoint a successor. Does his son-in-law, the "male nurse", Greg Focker have what it takes?

The movie took $26.3 million to stay at number one, holding off a charge from the new movie by the Coen Brothers.

Joel and Ethan are back with True Grit and the movie stayed in second with $24.5 million. There was also no move at third as Tron: Legacy stayed put.

The first move inside the top ten came at four and five as Yogi Bear jumped over The Voyage of the Dawn Treader to fourth while the latest Narnia movie slipped to five.

Tangled was also up one place to number six while The Fighter was down one at number seven. Gulliver's Travels has struggled at the box office this festive season and remained at eight.

And Oscar favourites featured heavily this week with Black Swan and The King's Speech rounding
