Liv Tyler has revealed that she still can't believe that she was part of The Lord of the Rings.
The actress took on the role of Arwen in the trilogy - The Fellowship of the Ring being was released a decade ago.
The movies went on to become one of the biggest and best loved franchises - the final movie breaking a $1 billion and winning a whole host of Oscars - including Best Picture.
Speaking to Movieline the actress said: "It was just such a big part of my life. I think of it so fondly. I sometimes think, 'I can't believe that happened.' That was such an extraordinary experience making those films, looking back on it now."
"I knew it at the time, but it was such an experiment and so risky in so many ways and done with so much passion and love.
"Just as a whole, I was completely floored by that whole situation. I enjoyed every second of it and was so proud of the success it was."
However Tyler will not be reprising her role in The Hobbit, filming is currently underway in New Zealand.
