Naomie Harris has been linked to the role of Miss Moneypenny.
Harris has been in talks for a part in the twenty third Bond movie for some time but it has now emerged that she could be in line to land one of the franchise's most famous characters.
Miss Money Penny has not been seen alongside Daniel Craig's Bond and was last played by Samantha Bond.
the twenty third Bond movie will see Daniel Craig return to the role of 007 with Judi Dench also set to return as M.
The movie will be directed by Sam Mendes and Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem have also been linked to roles in the movie.
Bond 23 is set for a October 2012 release.
