Robert Pattinson has called the filming of Breaking Dawn as 'daunting'.

The British actor will return to the role Edward Cullen, the role that made him famous, as the final book in the series gets the big screen treatment.

The movies will be directed by Bill Condon, the man behind Dreamgirls, and they will also be spilt into two movies, the book is rather beefy.

Speaking on the Today show the actor said: It's a little bit daunting, just because it was a long shoot the last time we shot Eclipse in Vancouver.

"The entire paparazzi population from LA came out and camped outside our hotel, so if it's in Vancouver it's a little worrying because I'll probably get cabin fever and end up jumping off the balcony!"

But Twilight fever is on the verge of sweeping around the globe once more as Eclipse, the third film in the series, is just weeks away from release.

Away from Twilight and Pattinson has already enjoyed box office success this year as he starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in Remember Me.

He is currently filming Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon and Bel Ami is in post production.

Twilight Saga: Eclipse is released 9th July
