Rupert Grint

Rupert Grint has admitted that is was 'weird' kissing co-star Emma Watson.

The pair reprise their roles as Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and lock lips during the movie.

However Grint compares the smooch to kissing his sister.

Speaking to Bang Showbiz he said: "It sounds stupid, but I never really saw it coming. It has always been hinted at but I never thought to the extent where at the end, we're quite like a couple.

"The kiss was one of the first scenes we filmed. It was weird. I kind of built up this thing in my head.

"We were both kind of dreading it, just because we've known each other since we were small. It's like kissing your sister."

But the actor also revealed that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 was more of a challenge for the actor as he had plenty of emotional scenes.

"This film is the first time I really had to do that. There is one scene with the whole Weasley family. It was depressing to do and it's quite shocking because it's a character we've associated with jokes and mucking about.

"It's quite horrible. There have been a lot of heavy, emotional scenes like that. It's satisfying though. But it's haunting as well, because I'm not really used to it.

"He's got a lot more depth now and he's a lot more complicated than in previous films. It's kind of nice."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is released 19th November.
