Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock loved locking lips with Meryl Streep at the Critics Choice Movie Awards on Friday night (15Jan10) and now hopes the actresses can kiss again - on the big screen.

Bullock and Streep embraced and kissed as they shared the ceremony's Best Actress award - after staging a comedy stand-off.

And The Proposal star admits it was a career highlight: "It was mindblowing and unbelievable."

She jokes that the two are looking to play lesbians in a film: "We may do a movie together that has a little sapphic element to it.

"Everyone's been like, 'Let's get them together as lovers.'"

It's been a good week for Bullock as she went on to win the Best Actress gong at the Golden Globes just days after picking up the Critics Choice Award.

It was Bullock's first major acting award for her performance in The Blind Side, a film which sees Bullock become the first actress to break the $200 million at the U.S. box office.

She is almost guaranteed an Oscar nomination for her performance and could be the favourite to scoop the award next month.
