Sarah Harding has scored a touchdown with producers of a new British film - she's in talks to star in an American football movie after wowing film bosses with her audition.
The pop star is in talks to play a cheerleader in a new U.K.-based film about a man who introduces the U.S. sport to a northern English town.
Harding impressed bosses on the independent project after she was invited along to screen test by her cousin - a co-producer on the venture.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "Sarah's cousin is a co-producer on the film, so they decided to audition her and she went down a storm. Sarah wants to do it and the offer is with her management."
Harding is no newcomer to acting - she starred in the St. Trinian's sequel last year (09) as well as acting alongside Dominic Cooper in gritty BBC drama Freefall.
