Stellan Skarsgard has described The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo story as 'uniquely Swedish'.
The Steig Larsson novels were adapted for the big screen last year but now the first book in the series has been filmed again - this time in English - by David Fincher.
And Skarsgard takes on the role of Martin Vanger as he joins an all star cast for this movie.
Skarsgard joined Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara and Joely Richardson on the red carpet in London earlier this week as the movie received it's world premiere.
And the film has already been met with great reviews from the critics and looks set to be a huge success.
It's already been a hugely successful year for the actor with roles in Melancholia as well as summer blockbuster Thor, a role he will be reprising next summer in The Avengers
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is released 26th December.
