The Amazing Spider Man is set to re-boot the popular franchise this summer as Peter Parker aka Spider Man is set to do battle with The Lizard.
And two new images have been released that finally give us the first glance of Dr Curt Connors in his reptilian state.
Rhys Ifans will play the role of the unfortunate Dr Connor who accidentally turns himself into a lizard during an experiment.
The movie sees Marc Webb take over the helm of the franchise while Andrew Garfield will play Spider Man.
Emma Stone is also on the cast list as Gwen Stacy while Sally Field and Martin Sheen will play Parker's aunt and uncle.
The Amazing Spider Man is released 4th July.
