Tom Hiddleston has described Thor: The Dark World as an 'amazing film'.
The second standalone Thor movie will see Hiddleston reprise the role of Loki while Alan Taylor has taken over the director's chair.
And the British actor is full of praise for the new director saying that he has brought new depth to already established characters.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "It's fantastic, truly. We are making an amazing film, and we're having a wonderful time.
"It's so exciting to have established characters and an established setting in the world, and we are working so hard to cook up something new.
"That is what is exciting me - taking what we know, taking what we love and deepening it and giving it an extra dimension. I think director Alan Taylor is really shaping up the world of Asgard and the world of these characters."
Chris Hemsworth is set to reprise the role of Thor while Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins have also returned for the second film.
And we are going to be seeing plenty of Hiddleston on the big screen next year as he has also completed work on London Project and Only Lovers Left Alive.
Thor: The Dark World is released 30th October.
