Vanessa Hudgens was terrified about her all-singing, all-dancing appearance at the Oscars - because she dreaded falling over in front of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
The High School Musical actress teamed up with her co-star - and boyfriend - Zac Efron to sing Last Chance from the movie's soundtrack and donned a dazzling showgirl outfit for the performance at this year's (09) Academy Awards.
But Hudgens was filled with fear about tripping over in her heels in front of the star-studded audience.
She tells Britain's Company magazine, "I was freaking out backstage at the Oscars because I was wearing high heels and didn't want to trip down the stairs in front of Brad and Angelina, half-naked in a leotard and top hat.
"But it was amazing to perform for the ceremony."
However the young actress was left red faced at the Teen Choice Awards earlier this week when funnyman Dane Cook poked fun at her nude photo scandal.
Cook was on stage to present the hottest female category when he looked for Hudgens and said: "Girl, you got to keep your clothes on! Phones are for phone calls, girl!"
