Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have hinted that they would not return if a fourth High School Musical project was to go ahead.The pair. who play Gabriella Montez and troy Bolton in the hit show, came to London last week for High School Musical 3: Senior Year's premiere and suggested that a fourth movie in the unexpectedly successful franchise may not work as the characters have graduated.The pair have shot to fame in their respected roles, with Zac Efron in particular winning a legion of fans and becoming the latest teen heartthrob.Away from the franchise it's Efron who has enjoyed the most success with the musical hit Hairspray last summer.He is also set to star in a remake of Footloose in the role made famous by Kevin Bacon as well as moving into comedy with 17 Again.High School Musical 3: Senior Year is released on October 22 in the UK.FemaleFirst
