Zac Efron was met by deafening screens last night as he attended the London premiere of his new movie 17 Again.
Hundreds of fans braved the weather to catch a glimpse of the twenty one year old High School Musical star in London's Leicester Square.
Speaking on the red carpet "The whole idea of playing a 37-year-old guy as a 17-year-old was just the most exciting prospect for me. I was really intrigued by the idea. I’ve always been kind of an old man, so to speak.
"I can't wait to see what everybody thinks... this is a movie to bring along the fans... I want to bring them along to a new adventure."
Matthew Perry stars as thirty seven Mike O' Donnell who believes his life has passed him by. But a magical transformation leaves Mike seventeen again (played by Efron).
He goes back to the high school he attended twenty years ago to try and do things right second time around.
17 Again is released 10th April
