Amy Adams believes that Lois Lane's relationship with Superman in Man of Steel makes her move human.

Adams teams up with Henry Cavill to play Lois and Clark in the reboot of the Superman franchise; which is directed by Zack Snyder.

The Oscar nominated actress hints that through the appearance of this stranger Lane discovers her own humanity.

Speaking to Flicks And Bits the actress said: "I think he takes her by surprise, and I think it's very interesting that it takes this person from another world to actually make her more human.

"His humanity actually brings about a change in her, it gives her a stronger sense of humanity."

Man of Steel sees Adams step into the superhero blockbuster for the first time as she teams up with Cavill, Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon.

The movie kicks off a very busy year for the actress as she has also completed work on Her, Lullaby and American Hustle.

Man of Steel is one of the most anticipated films of the year as it brings together Snyder, producer Christopher Nolan and writer David S. Goyer to work on the same project.

Man of Steel is released 14th June.
