Bad Neighbours

Bad Neighbours

Bad Neighbours had a terrific opening weekend to end The Amazing Spider Man 2's reign as the UK's #1 film.

The comedy sees Seth Rogen team up with Zac Efron and Rose Byrne, while Nicholas Stoller was back in the director's chair.

The film £8.4 million this weekend to comfortably see off the challenge from the Spider Man sequel.

The Amazing Spider Man 2 - which was also toppled from the top of the U.S box office by the comedy - slipped just a single place to this week's number two.

The Other Woman was also down one place, while Rio 2 was up one at four: this was the only movie on the up this week.

Pompeii fell two places to round off the top five, while Tarzan also fell two spots from four to six.

Sabotage and La Cenerentola were new in at seven and eight. Captain America: The Winter Soldier was this week's biggest faller, as it dropped three places from six to nine.

Frank was the fourth and final new entry inside the top ten, as it rounded off the chart at ten.
