Though there’s over a year to go until the release of upcoming mystery crime movie Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, that hasn’t stopped those working on the film from using every opportunity to promote their upcoming flick. Featuring an all-star A-list cast including Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Dakota Fanning, James Marsden, Clifton Collins Jr., Timothy Olyphant, Emile Hirsch, Scoot McNairy, Damian Lewis, Burt Reynolds and Al Pacino, and being directed and written by Quentin Tarantino, the film will centre around the Manson Family murders, and follow the story of a TV actor and his stunt double trying to break Hollywood in 1969 Los Angeles.
DiCaprio tackles the role of that TV actor, Rick Dalton in the film, whilst Pitt stars as his longtime close friend and stunt double, Cliff Booth. We’ve now got our hands on a stunning first look image of the pair, straight from the movie’s set, which you can check out below:
Robbie will play Sharon Tate in the film; a pregnant actress who was at the time married to Roman Polanski, but who was murdered in her home by followers of Charles Manson.
Tarantino has been working on Once Upon A Time In Hollywood for some time now, but was forced to seek out a new distributor for the movie following the sexual abuse allegations levelled at Harvey Weinstein.
Principal photography for the film kicked off in Los Angeles on June 18 earlier this year, and is expected to wrap up by the end of November 2018. Whether or not that will be the case remains to be seen, but we’re sure Tarantino will be doing his all to ensure that no matter what, the flick is one that keeps audiences engrossed from beginning to end.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood comes to cinemas across the UK on August 9, 2019.
