Anthony and Joe Russo have revealed that there are parts of Captain America: Civil War that's funnier than The Winter Solider.

The Russo brothers are back in the director's chair for Civil War in what is their second Captain America film; they steered The Winter Soldier to critical and commercial success back in 2014.
Civil War is one of the comic book movies that I am looking forward to the most this year and Anthony and Joe Russo have dropped more hints as to what we can expect from the latest Marvel film.
Speaking to Collider, the directors said: "There's a good portion of [Civil War] that's actually funnier than Winter Soldier, because there are characters in that film, that come from worlds where the tone is more comedic. Not all the characters in that movie have the same history as the Avengers. They're coming at the problem of the film, not embedded with that baggage.
"They're not tied to the central arc of the movie with the same motivation as the other characters, so they can be lighter. I think there are a lot lighter moments because there are much darker moments as well. We did have to work very hard at that."
There are plenty of familiar faces on the cast list as Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Robert Downey Jr are set to reprise their roles as Captain America, Black Widow, and Iron Man... however, we are going to be introduced to some great new characters.
We are going to see Chadwick Boseman and Tom Holland take on the roles of Black Panther and Spider-Man for the first time and we are also going to see Ant-Man come face to face with Steve Rodgers for the first time.
Captain America: Civil War is set to build up to events in Avengers: Infinity War and we will see Anthony and Joe Russo take over the director's chair from Joss Whedon. The two-part film is set to start shooting later this year.
Captain America: Civil War is the first of two Marvel films as we are set to see Doctor Strange hit the big screen for the first time in the autumn.
Captain America: Civil War is released 29th April.
