Chiwetel Ejiofor is set to team up with Gwyneth Paltrow in new film The Secret In Their Eyes.
Deadline has reported that the Oscar nominated actor will play a former MI5 agent, while Paltrow will play the lead female role.
The Secret In Their Eyes is an English speaking adaptation of the Juan José Campanella film from 2010, and will be directed by Billy Ray.
Ray is best known for his script writing - he has penned the likes of Captain Phillips, The Hunger Games and State of Play - but this will be his third film as director.
This will be Ray's first film since Breach back in 2007, and he is also going to pen the screenplay.
Ejiofor is already having a terrific 2014, with 12 Years A Slave being met with critical acclaim.
Ejiofor picked up his first Best Actor Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Solomon Northup: the film went on to scoop Best Picture.
The actor has already completed work on Z for Zachariah, as well as being linked to a role in Bond 25: however, that is yet to be confirmed.
Filming is due to get underway on The Secret In Their Eyes this autumn.
