Evans is currently enjoying big box office success with Avengers: Age of Ultron and will begin shooting Captain America: Civil War in just a couple of weeks.

And the actor reveals that is it going to be all about Marvel movies over the next couple of years as Avengers: Infinity War is going to be a huge project for the studio and everyone involved.

Speaking to Esquire, the actor said: "You know, you plan around the Marvel responsibilities. You have to. We start [Captain America: Civil War] in a couple weeks, and then that shoots until August or something like that. August or September. Then I've got some downtime and I can do with it as I please.

"I don't know if I want to take time off or go pursue another directing job or find a movie to act in or, you know, do whatever I'm creatively inclined to pursue or wait, relax, enjoy my life. And then we start the Infinity War, I think, some time in the third quarter. Fall or winter of 2016. That's going to be like nine months to shoot both movies back to back."

Infinity War will be the next Avengers film and will be split into two over 2018 and 2019. It is already one of the most anticipated films, despite Age of Ultron have only just hit the big screen.

Age of Ultron has already grossed over $200 million at the global box office and is set to open in America this weekend. It will certainly go on to be one of the most successful films of the year and will follow on from the success of Captain America: The Winter Solider and Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014.

Civil War is set to hit the big screen next year and will be the movie that will kick off Phase Three of Marvel films. Evans will be back as Steve Rodgers and will be joined on the cast list by Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner, and Anthony Mackie. Chadwick Boseman will be the big new addition to the cast list as we will get the first peak of him as Black Panther.

Civil War will see Evans reunite with directors Anthony and Joe Russo - who were behind The Winter Soldier - they will also be taking up the director's chair for both Infinity War movies. This will be the first time that they have helmed an Avengers project.

Civil War is released 29th April 2016. Avengers: Infinity War - Part I is released 27th April 2018. Avengers: Infinity War - Part II is released 26th April 2019.
