Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks as described working on a Disney film as an 'honour'.

Hendricks has lent her voice to new animation film Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy; she voices the character of pirate fairy Zarina.

The movie sees Hendricks team up with director Peggy Holmes, and says that this project is 'every girl's dream'.

"It is so exciting to get a phone call saying you're going to be working on a Disney film. And then, to find out it's a Tinker Bell movie is every girl's dream.

"I also love the fact that the movie is about the introduction of a new fairy that we get to create from scratch. Its been a dream come true. Its been really, really fun.

"It's an honour to be part of the Disney legacy. As an actor, you always hope that you're leaving a mark or that something has been learned from watching your movie."

Holmes has brought together a great voice cast as Lucy Halen, Tom Hiddleston, Matt Lanter and Lucy Lui are all also on board.

This movie kicks off a busy year for the actress, as she has also completed work on God's Pocket, How To Catch A Monster and Dark Places.

Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy is released 14th February.
