Colin Firth says he has 'developed a connection' with Nicole Kidman.
It was revealed earlier this week that the Oscar winning pair would be working on a fourth film together, as Kidman joined the cast of Genius.
The pair have already worked together on The Railway Man and the upcoming films Before I Go To Sleep and Paddington.
Speaking to the New York Daily News, the actor said: "Once you develop a connection with somebody, it helps you from job to job.
"I think her versatility is extraordinary. It's not just about the extraordinary results she produces, but also the choices she makes are a testament to the kind of mentality she has."
Genius will follow the relationship between author Thomas Wolfe and his editor Max Perkins - played by Michael Fassbender and Firth.
The movie will mark the feature film directorial debut of Michael Grandage.
