Dominic Cooper

Dominic Cooper has dropped some hints about Warcraft and says there is a 'very human story at the heart of it'.

Cooper is the latest name to be added to an impressive cast list - however, the character that the actor will be playing is still unknown.

Speaking Crave Online the actor said: "There’s a very human story at the heart of it because there’s a few of us that are humans in it that are up against tribes and problematic issues that exist in the world that we exist in.

"It’s happening all over the world at the moment and you see it happening all over. People have savaged their own lands and their own environment and they’re having to find a new environment in which to move into through the hostility of others.

"If there’s something as poignant as that that we can relate to and that we see unfolding in everyday life, then it will make it a worthwhile story."

Duncan Jones will be in the director for the film as he follows up from the success of his first two films Moon and Source Code.

And Jones has brought together a great cast that includes Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Toby Kebbell, Travis Fimmel and Robert Kazinsky.

Cooper is one of the busiest actors around having completed work on Need For Speed, Dracula Untold and Captain America: The Winter Soldier - the latter would see him reprise the role of Howard Stark.

Cooper will also be on returning to the small screen as he is set to take on the role of Ian Fleming in Fleming.

Warcraft is released 11th March 2015.
