Eddie Redmayne is just one of the actors in the running to play Doctor Doom in the new Fantastic Four film.
The Fantastic Four is being rebooted, with Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Michael B. Jordan already on board as Reed Richard, Sue Storms, The Thing and Johnny Storm.
But now the hunt for the film's villain is underway. According to The Wrap there are four actors in major contention for the role: Eddie Redmayne, Sam Riley, Toby Kebbell and Domnhall GleesonSam Riley, Toby Kebbell and Domnhall Gleeson.
Josh Trank will be in the director's chair for what will be his first film since he made his debut with Chronicle.
The Fantast Four is set for an 18th June 2015 UK release, and filming is expected to get underway later this year.
Redmayne is perhaps the most well known of the four actors, but we haven't seen him on the big screen since the success of Les Miserables.
He will be back later this year in sci-fi blockbuster Jupiter Ascending, before taking on the role of Stephen Hawking in Theory of Everything.
The Fantastic Four reboot will be the first time that we have seen these characters on film since The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer back in 2007.
