Felicity Jones has hinted that she will be wearing a costume in The Amazing Spider Man 2, suggesting that she could be about to take on the role of Black Cat in the film.
Jones has been linked to the role of Black Cat for some time - however, the role she is set to play is yet to be officially confirmed.
However, the actress did tell Collider that she has had a hand in the development of the costume that we are going to be seeing her in.
“Oh, yeah, totally! Absolutely! It’s a medium that’s very collaborative. Actors and directors work on things together. That’s how I like to work, anyway.
“I don’t want to be told what to do. I want to share it with someone and work it out together. You know that person better than anyone. That’s my job.”
Jones is just one of the new additions to The Amazing Spider Man 2 cast list as Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dan Dehaan and Chris Cooper are all also on board.
However, before we see Jones in the Amazing Spider Man 2, she will be back on the big screen in The Invisible Woman: a movie that sees her star alongside Ralph Fiennes.
She has also completed work on True Story and is currently filming Theory of Everything with Eddie Redmayne and David Thewlis.
The Amazing Spider Man 2 is released 18th April 2013.
