George Clooney has joked that Matt Damon was a diva on the set of The Monuments Men.
Clooney is in the director's chair for the World War II drama, a project that sees him reunite with Damon.
While the two actors have worked together extensively as actors, this is the first lead role for Damon in a Clooney directed film.
Speaking on the red carpet in London, Clooney joked that Damon was the most difficult to work with: "Matt Damon drinks a lot, and it is really hard to get him the set. It is hard to get him out of the trailer some times.
"I don't like to use the word 'diva' or thrown that around, but you know what I am saying."
Clooney has brought together an all star cast as he and Damon appear alongside Cate Blanchett, John Goodman, Bill Murray and Jean Dujardin.
Clooney is currently working on Tomorrowland; a project that sees him work with director Brad Bird.
The Monuments Men is released 14th February.
