The majority of Guardians of the Galaxy will be set in space according to Kevin Feige.
The Marvel Comics president has been talking about the latest Marvel project to be adapted for the big screen, a film that will begin shooting later this year.
Speaking to SFX Feige said: "The Thor film and the Guardians of the Galaxy film certainly are cosmic.
"Guardians and Thor will take the brunt of the cosmic side of the universe, particularly Guardians, which is 95% in space."
James Gunn will be back in the director's chair for the project and he has also worked on the screenplay.
A full cast has not yet been announced but it seems that Joseph Gordon Levitt will not be involved while Jason Momoa is believed to be in talks for a role.
The movie is set for a summer 2014 released.
