Isla Fisher

Isla Fisher has described her character in Now You See Me as a cross between Katharine Hepburn and Lisbeth Salander.

The actress is back this summer as she teams up with Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman in Louis Letterier’s magic movie.

Fisher reveals that she loved taking on the role of Henley as she is completely different to anything that she has played before.

Speaking to Total Film the actress said: "She’s the only lady in the Horsemen crew. I got to bring that kind of unbridled, untamable feminine spirit to the gang.

"Henley’s also the brains of the operation, so she keeps the men’s egos in check. She’s a wild anarchist, A lion tamer. Such a different character from anything else I’ve played - and from myself.

"She seemed like a cross between Katharine Hepburn and Lisbeth Salander. I loved her."

This is the second movie of the year for Fisher as she starred in The Great Gatsby last month.

Now You See Me sees her work with Leterrier for the very first time as he returns to the director's chair for the first time since Clash of the Titans.

The actress has also finished work on an Elmore Leonard project and she has also been linked to Desperados.

Now You See Me is released 3rd July.
