Jamie Foxx and Kevin Hart are believed to be in talks to star in Black Phantom.
According to variety the two actors looks set to team up for the action movie about a double-crossed mob hitman.
At the moment, it is not yet known which actors will take on which roles in the film. Tim Story is also in talks to direct the film.
Black Phantom would see Hart and Story reunite should they both sign on for the project: they have just worked together on Ride Along.
Will Packer will produce alongside Will Gluck from a script written by Dave Lease and Megan Hinds, with Screen Gems president Clint Culpepper overseeing the film.
The plot centres around a hitman who enlists the help of the notorious Black Phantom, who turns out to be the same killer who has been sent to finish him off.
Foxx will be back on the big screen this spring with The Amazing Spider Man 2. He has also lent his voice to Rio 2 and will star in Annie.
As for Hart, he has already enjoyed box office success with Ride Along. He is set to star in About Last Night, Think Like A Man Too and The Wedding Ringer.
