Julianne Moore revealed that she loved exploring her character in new film Maps To The Stars.
Moore take on the role of a desperate actress as she teams up with director David Cronenberg.
Maps To The Stars has been playing at the Cannes Film Festival, and Moore's performance has been winning over the critics.
Speaking to the Press Association, the actress said: "I love the movie business because it gives us the chance to explore all these kind of basic human condition. What is the real part? What is the fake part?
"To have an opportunity in your job to do that kind of stuff is lucky."
Maps To The Stars brings together a great cast, as Mia Wasikowska, Robert Pattinson and John Cusack star alongside Moore.
Maps To The Stars is just one of the films that we will see Moore star in this year: she is also set to appear in Seventh Son and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.
Moore is one of the new faces on The Hunger Games cast list, and will take on the role of President Alma Coin.
