Katee Sackhoff says she has not met with Marvel for any film project.
Sackhoff has been linked with a possible future superhero role for some time - rumours that were only fuelled when she was spotted with Stan Lee.
However, the actress insists that talks between herself and the studio have not taken place.
Speaking to Vulture, the actor said: "As of this moment, I have not sat down with anybody from Marvel for any role specifically.
"But that doesn't necessarily mean that something with Marvel is completely off the table for the future.
"Any time I can play a strong female that's a role model, it's a good day."
Marvel have announced a series of movie release dates for projects over the next three of four years, but have not revealed all of the films that will be hitting the big screen.
While we will be getting a second Captain America film and a third Thor, we will be introduced to some new franchises and characters.
As for Sackhoff, we last saw her on the big screen in horror film Oculus.
