Keira Knightley has revealed that she picked up an injury working on her latest drama The Imitation Game.

Knightley is set to star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in the drama, a film about Alan Turing and breaking the Enigma code.

The actress may have done plenty of action films during her career, but it was on this drama where she picked up her first injury.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the actress said: "The only injury I've ever got was [doing The Imitation Game] which is the least action-packed film in the entire world and I managed to tear a muscle running through a door.

"I've done all of these action films and I've never got hurt at all and I manage to do it on a drama."

The Imitation Game sees Morten Tyldum in the director's chair, while Matthew Goode, Mark Strong and Charles Dance join Knightley and Cumberbatch on the cast list.

Knightley returned to the big screen last month in blockbuster Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. She has also completed work on Laggies and Can A Song Save Your Life?

The Imitation Game is released later this year.
