Kick Ass 2
Kick Ass 2 has seen off competition from Planes and 2 Guns to top the UK box office.
The movie comes three years after the success of the first and sees Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Moretz reprise the roles of Kick Ass & Hit Girl; the roles that made them stars.
While the movie has struggled in its opening weekend in the U.S. in the UK it took £2.4 million to claim the #1 spot.
DisneyToon's Planes was new in at number two, while 2 Guns was the third and final new entry in at three.
Grown Ups 2 and The Conjuring both fell a single place to round off the top five at four and five.
Monsters University also dropped at single spot as it fell out of the top five down at six.
Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa was one of this week's biggest faller as it dropped six places, from one to seven. Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters was also down seven spots at nine.
But there was good news for Despicable Me 2 as it climbed one place back into the top ten at ten.
