International romantic drama Life Itself may not be set for release until January next year, but fans of Oscar Isaac are already working themselves into a spin thanks to a brilliant new trailer that dropped a little earlier this week. Check it out below:
Also starring Olivia Wilde, Annette Bening, Antonio Banderas, and Olivia Cooke, the movie comes from the creator of This Is Us, Dan Fogelman, and is set across two very different places; New York in the United States of America, and Carmona in Spain.
Life Itself explores the relationship shared between a young New York couple who go from college sweethearts to marriage and the birth of their first child, as they come up against wholly unexpected twists of spending a lifetime together, creating shockwaves that echo across the globe.
Director and writer Fogelman hopes to explore not only the human condition throughout the film, but the perils and rewards that many of us cross in everyday life. With an intense look at generations and how much life changes throughout the years, Life Itself will see an earlier release of September in the United States, with Amazon Studios dealing with distribution.
It should be interesting for British audiences to see the response from across the pond before getting a chance to watch; we can’t wait to find out if this A-list extravaganza is set to be a major success.
Life Itself comes to Sky Cinema and cinemas across the UK in January 2019.
