London Has Fallen

If you were a fan of action movie Olympus Has Fallen then you are going to be holding onto your seat once again this October as the sequel hits the big screen.

London Has Fallen is only month away and will see Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart reprise their central roles of Mike Banning and Benjamin Asher.

I have my finger crossed that it is as exciting a ride as its predecessor and two London themed posters have been released - one featuring Big Ben and the other St Paul's Cathedral:

London Has Fallen

It is all change in the director's chair for London Has Fallen has Babak Najafi takes over from Antoine Fuqua. This is only the second feature film of Najafi's directing career and comes five years after he made his debut with Sebbe.

Butler and Eckhart are not the only familiar faces on the cast list, as Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo, Angela Bassett, and Radha Mitchell are also set to return.

However, there are some new faces to watch out for as Charlotte Riley, Jackie Earle Haley, and Colin Salmon are some of the great new names on board.

The sequel to the worldwide smash hit Olympus Has Fallen begins in London, where the British Prime Minister has passed away under mysterious circumstances. His funeral is a must-attend event for leaders of the western world.

But what starts out as the most protected event on earth, turns into a deadly plot to kill the world's most powerful leaders, devastate every known landmark in the British capital, and unleash a terrifying vision of the future.

Only three people have any hope of stopping it: the President of the United States, his formidable secret service head (Butler), and an English MI-6 agent who rightly trusts no one

London Has Fallen is released in October.
