Magic Magic

Magic Magic

Juno Temple is one of the most exciting young actresses, and she will be returning to the big screen this spring with Magic Magic.

Magic Magic sees Sebastián Silva return to the director's chair, and has also penned the screenplay for the film.

The new trailer for the film has been released, and we have it for you to take a look at:

A great young cast has been assembled for the film, as Michael Cera, Emily Browning, and Catalina Sandino Moreno are also set to star. This is the second film for Cera and the director, having worked on Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus.

Magic Magic tells the story of a shy young girl, Alicia (Temple), who embarks on the trip of a lifetime to a remote part of Chilé with her cousin Sarah (Browning) and Sarah’s friends.

However, the holiday does not go as planned as Sarah suddenly has to return to school leaving Alicia alone in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. Alicia desperately tries to settle into her new surroundings but finds it difficult; entering a world of disturbing landscapes where she begins to mentally unravel.

Her friends see her increasingly erratic behaviour as irrational, but they remain blissfully unaware of how much darker things will become for them.

As their lack of sympathy - and the language barrier - pushes Alicia further into isolation and closer to the edge, things begin to take a rapidly downwards spiral for the group; forcing them into a situation that proves both terrifying and life-threatening...

Magic Magic kicks off a busy year for Temple, as we are going to be seeing her star in the likes of Maleficent and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

Magic Magic is released 18th April.
