Matthew McConaughey says he is already in 'celebration mode' after receiving his first Oscar nomination.
McConaughey is the favourite to scoop the Best Actor Oscar for his stunning central performance in Dallas Buyers Club.
And the actor says no matter what happens he is determined to enjoy and celebrate all that happens.
Speaking to the press before the Oscar nominees luncheon, the actor said: "I'm gonna celebrate no matter what. I'm already in celebration mode.
"I'm gonna enjoy this. This is my first time nominated and if I ever get nominated again, who knows?
"But there will never be another first time."
McConaughey has already won a Golde Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award for his performance; however, he will not be in the mix at the Baftas this weekend.
The Best Actor category is a tough one this year with Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruce Dern and Chiwetel Ejiofor all also in the running.
McConaughey will be back on the big screen later this year as he teams up with Christopher Nolan in Interstellar.
