Matthew McConaughey has described Christopher Nolan as a director who 'knows what he wants'.
McConaughey has teamed up with Nolan for the first time for new film Interstellar; which is a film that is shrouded in secrecy.
Not much about the story is known except that it is a new science fiction project.
Speaking to MTV about Nolan, McConaughey said: "He knows what he wants. He knows everything about what's happening on a film set, and what everybody's doing."
Filming is currently underway on the movie, which brings together a fantastic cast. McConaughey is joined by Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck and Michael Caine.
This will be the first film for Nolan since the huge success of The Dark Knight Rises last summer; he has also worked on the screenplay with his brother Jonathan.
Interstellar is released 7th November 2014.
