The Mission Impossible franchise has been ongoing since 1996, and has remained one of Hollywood’s most exciting and daring film franchises out there. Now, a trailer for the next entry into the series has been released...

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One is the next movie in the Mission Impossible franchise, and is slated for release in 2023, five years after the previous film, Mission Impossible: Fallout in 2018.

The film series stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, an agent who goes above and beyond to get his missions completed, no matter how impossible they may seem.

Cruise is known for his action roles over his long career, from 1986’s Top Gun, 2005’s War of the Worlds, and 2013’s Oblivion. The actor is also known for performing a lot of his own stunts, mainly for the Mission Impossible franchise; he once broke his ankle filming one of the features.

The trailer for Dead Reckoning Part One is simply a collection of clips from the upcoming feature, as well as showing audiences who will be returning to the franchise along with Cruise and, introducing us to new characters.

It seems that Cruise gives 110% for every project he is cast in, with his role in the Mission Impossible series being one of his most physically demanding roles.

The movie, as well as Cruise, features Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, Rob Delaney, Cary Elwes, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, Charles Parnell, with Greg Tarzan Davis and Frederick Schmidt.

We see crazy stunts, which Cruise no doubt did many of himself, as well as shots of new actors joining the fray, such as Vanessa Kirby (Hobbs & Shaw) and Marvel’s Hayley Atwell in as of yet undisclosed roles.

Just like the past entries in the franchise, Dead Reckoning Part One is action-packed with new stunts, a new narrative, and a mission that might just be Hunt’s toughest yet.

While there is very little information on Dead Reckoning Part One, such as the specific roles actors are playing (other than their names) and the film’s plot, we can only hope more details will surface soon.

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One will be released sometime in 2023.
