Fans of Elvis Presley have been given another look at the upcoming biopic Elvis, from director Baz Luhrmann. In this latest teaser, audiences are given more of a look at the complicated and tumultuous relationship the King of Rock and Roll (Austin Butler) shared with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks).

Not only looking at the incredible impact Elvis and his music had on the world, the movie will also tell the story of the legendary performer's more intimate relationships with the most significant and influential people in his life, including Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJonge).

The all-star cast also includes award-winning theatre star Helen Thomson as Elvis' mother Gladys and Richard Roxburgh as Elvis' father Vernon, alongside Luke Bracey, Natasha Bassett, David Wenham, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Xavier Samuel, Kodi Smit-Mcphee, Dacre Montgomery, Leon Ford, Kate Mulvany, Gareth Davies, Charles Grounds, Josh McConville and, Adam Dunn.

The trailer comes after it was revealed that Elvis' real-life granddaughter, Riley Keough, was moved to tears after watching an early cut of the film; just as it did her mother, Lisa Marie Presley and, her grandmother, Priscilla Presley.

Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival, as part of Variety's Women in Motion panel, Keough explained: "It was a very emotional experience. It's very intense to watch when it's your family. It wasn't like I distrusted Baz in any way, but you're protective over your family."

Priscilla took to Instagram earlier this month (May 2022) to share her thoughts, saying that it took her and Lisa "a few days to overcome the emotions" that watching the film brought on.

Elvis will be released nationwide in cinemas on June 24th, 2022 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
