Maze Runner was one of the new franchises based on a young adult novel that we saw hit the big screen last year... and now the release of Maze Runner Scorch Trials is only a few weeks away.
The Scorch Trials is the second book in the series by James Dashner and will see Wes Ball back in the director's chair - this will be his first directorial outing since the success of Maze Runner last year.
We are going to see Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Ki Hong Lee reprise their roles as Thomas, Teresa, Newt, and Minho, while Nathalie Emmanuel and Rosa Salazar are two of the new additions as Harriet and Brenda. And the six actors feature in a series of great new character posters:
Patricia Clarkson will be reprising her role as Ava Paige, while Aidan Gillen and Barry Pepper with two movie great additions to the cast list.
In this next chapter of the epic Maze Runner saga, Thomas (O'Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD.
Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD's vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is released 10th September.
