Emma Roberts and Dave Franco are set to join forces this summer when they star in new movie Nerve.

Nerve

Nerve

Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, who have already brought us Catfish and Paranormal Activity 3 & 4, reunite in the director's chair. This is their first feature film since the success of Paranormal Activity 4 back in 2012.

The brand new trailer for the film has arrived and we have it for you to take a look at:

Nerve is based on the novel by Jeanne Ryan and sees Roberts and Franco take on the central roles of Vee and Ian; who are pulled into an online game of truth or dare.

They are joined on the cast list by Juliette Lewis, Samira Wiley, Emily Meade, Miles Heizer, Machine Gun Kelly, and Kimiko Glenn.

Nerve follows industrious high school senior, Vee Delmonico (Roberts), who has had it with living life on the sidelines. When pressured by friends to join the popular online game Nerve, Vee decides to sign up for just one dare in what seems like harmless fun.

But as she finds herself caught up in the thrill of the adrenaline-fueled competition, the game begins to take a sinister turn with increasingly dangerous acts, leading her into a high-stakes finale that will determine her entire future.

Joost and Schulman have proved to be a great directing team with their previous film projects and I cannot wait to see what they deliver this time around.

Nerve is released 12th August.
