Rosamund Pike is set to return to the big screen this May with new thriller Return To Sender and she takes centre stage in this exclusive new poster.
Pike has already enjoyed a successful 2015 with her first Best Actress Oscar nomination for Gone Girl, and now she is set to give another nail-biting and chilling performance in Return To Sender.
The movie sees the actress team up with filmmaker Fouad Mikati for the first time as he returns to the director's chair for only his second feature film - he made his debut back in 2010 with Operation: Endgame.
Pike is set to take on the central role and is joined on the cast list by Shiloh Fernandez, Nick Nolte, Rumer Willis, and Scout Taylor-Compton.
Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) stars as a small town nurse who gets brutally attacked and raped in her own home by a mysterious man (Fernandez). Following his arrest, she starts to write to him but the letters all get returned unopened.
Determined to confront him she then starts to regularly visit him in prison and seemingly befriends him, against her father's (Nolte) express wishes. Unable to understand his daughters intentions he fears for her safety come the time her assailant is released... but has he underestimated her strength and resolve?
May is an exciting movie month and if thrillers are your genre of choice then Return to Sender is one that you cannot miss. Pike has always been an exciting actress and it is great to see her back and getting her teeth into another meaty role.
