Robert Downey Jr has called shooting Iron Man 3 a 'delightful experience'.
The actor returns to the big screen this week as he reprises the role of Tony Stark for a third stand alone Iron Man movie.
The actor was in London last week to promote the movie and whilst in the press conference he talked about what a pleasure it was returning to the franchise and working with his co-stars.
"We are doing something right and I really am glad the people are responding to this movie.
"Being able to do this again with Don and Gwyneth has been a real pleasure.
"But having Sir Ben rocket us into another dimension with arguably the most complicated arc in superhero history and the overly talented Rebecca Hall turning up and classing the joint has just made this the most delightful experience."
Downey Jr starred in Avengers Assemble last summer and Iron Man 3 sees the character of Stark dealing with the aftermath of events in that film.
Whether Downey Jr will return for movie Iron Man movies remains to be seen as his three film contract has come to an end.
Iron Man 3 kicks off Phase 2 of Marvel movies and will see Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Solider, Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers 2 all hit the big screen over the next couple of years.
