Roger Waters is one of the most iconic men in rock music having been the creative genius behind Pink Floyd... and now Waters and his incredible music is coming to the big screen.

Roger Waters - The Wall

Roger Waters - The Wall

The Wall Live is the biggest worldwide tour by any solo artist ever and now we are going to get the chance to see it again in a brand new concert movie.

The movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and is written and directed by Walters and Sean Evans - it really is set to be THE concert movie not to miss this year.

And we have a little taster as what you can expect from the film with the latest - and pretty spectacular - trailer. Check it out:

The film unfolds on many levels - as an immersive concert experience of the classic Pink Floyd album, a road movie of Waters' reckoning with the past and as a stirring anti-war film, highlighting the human cost of conflict.

Roger Waters The Wall was shot in 4K and mixed in Dolby Atmos during Waters' sold-out 2010-2013 'The Wall Live' tour, seen by over 4 million fans worldwide, featuring never before seen concert footage from this breathtaking tour, including the hits Another Brick in the Wall Part 2, Comfortably Numb and Run Like Hell.

Beyond the outstanding music, Waters reflects on the impact of war on his own family as he embarks on a deeply personal pilgrimage. Woven throughout the film, the journey offers a revealing, candid portrait of a man who has been through enough, and lived in the world long enough, to be passionately and unapologetically anti-war.

This is a movie that is already winning over the critics and is set to be a must see for fans when it hits the big screen at the end of September.

Roger Waters The Wall is released 29th September.
