Samuel L. Jackson says he has no idea if he will be starring in Avengers 2 - despite having not yet fulfilled his nine picture deal.
We last saw Jackson take on the role of Nick Fury in Avengers Assemble last summer but he is set to reprise the role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, a movie that has already begun filming.
But beyond the second Captain America film Jackson admits that he has no idea where his character will be popping up next.
Speaking to Metro the actor said: "I don't know. They don't tell me that kind of stuff. All I know is that I am doing Captain America 2.
"It's been cool. The Marvel universe continues to grow and get better. I think I have four or five pictures left on my nine-picture deal, so I will just keep showing up."
We first saw Nick Fury at the end of the credits in Iron Man before appearing in Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America; The First Avenger and Avengers Assemble.
Joss Whedon will be back in the director's chair for Avengers 2 and is currently working on the script.
As for Jackson we will be seeing him in the remake of Oldboy later this year and he has also completed work on Kite, Reasonable Doubt and RoboCop.
