Saoirse Ronan says you know you are in safe hands when you are on set with director Wes Anderson.

Ronan will back on the big screen at the beginning of March, as she teams up with Anderson for the first time with The Grand Budapest Hotel.

And the Oscar nominated actress says Anderson’s is meticulous in his preparations, and know exactly how he is going to shoot every scene.

Speaking to Flicks and Bit, the actress said: “It’s amazing. I think because the script is so well written, I mean, the draft that I received before we started shooting was pretty much the shooting script.

“He had everything ready to go and I’ve learnt since that he has this animatic thing and basically he’s drawn out the entire film, kind of story boarded it and drawn out every single shot that he’s going to do and voiced every single character and played out the beats that he wants to have when he’s shooting.

“He’s so meticulous and particular it’s amazing. You come on set and you know that you are safe with him.”

Ronan is part of a great ensemble cast of The Grand Budapest Hotel, as she teams up with the likes of Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Jude Law, Owen Wilson and Adrien Brody.

The Grand Budapest Hotel is the first big screen outing for Ronan since How I Live Now last year. We will also be seeing her in Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut How To Catch A Monster and Brooklyn.

The Grand Budapest Hotel is released 7th March
