Paul Bettany is set to make his directorial debut with Shelter, which is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Bettany is in the director's chair and has penned the screenplay for Shelter, and the movie will star Jennifer Connelly and Anthony Mackie.

Playlist have released a new poster and images from the film, to celebrate Shelter's inclusion at the Toronto International Film Festival:

The movie follows Hannah and Tahir, who fall in love will homeless and living on the streets of New York.

Shelter will explore these two characters and how they came to be homeless.

As for Bettany, he will be reuniting with Johnny Depp at the beginning of next year with Mortdecai: the pair have already worked together on Transcendence and the Tourist.

Bettany has also landed the role of The Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron - he will also voice the character of Jarvis in the movie.

No UK release date for Shelter has been announced.
